Biathlon in the ARBERLAND

This is at the ARBER Hohenzollern Ski Stadium at the Großer Arbersee

Show the shape first on cross country skis in order to have a steady hand with frantic pulse at the shooting range – because of this contrast Biathlon is even among competitive sportsmen known as one of the most difficult disciplines. The ARBER Hohenzollern Ski Stadium offers ideal requirements for the Biathlon sport.

IBU Cup ARBER im Hohenzollern Skistadion am Großen Arbersee

Eight route sections in different length and difficulty, a track management for both disciplines as well as a shooting range with 30 lanes and electronic targets provide ideal conditions. Since 1998 the Hohenzollern Ski Stadium is official regional training centre for skiing and acts as training and competition facility.

Modernisation and extension of finish, functional and changing facilities as well as the tracks have further optimised the stadium. For this the International Biathlon Union (IBU) granted the Hohenzollern Ski Stadium the B-License that entitles to perform competitions up to a Junior World Championship. Thanks to the Organisationskomitee (OK) Bayerischer Wald many international competitions could take place at the stadium in the last years. As spectator or helper you have the possibility to be live at top-class Biathlon competitions.

Would you like to take part actively and not „only“ as a spectator?

In the ARBERLAND you have the chance at Biathlon for everybody to experience Biathlon yourself. Under professional guidance interested persons can test how it feels to lap as a “real” Biathlete and to hit the mark.

Not only adults, also kids and youths can try Biathlon. Or register as a group, because together the Biathlon try is even more fun.

Who favours the warm seasons can also go on the tracks in summer with roller skis or mountain bikes.
