Regen - the pearl on the river

The people of Regen are keen to share their love of their town and their traditions with visitors. Every year, lots of festivals and events take place in this small town in the middle of the Bavarian Forest. This is a further reason, alongside the lovely natural surroundings, for taking a holiday in the "Pearl of the Regen".

The resort on the river Regen, easily accessed via the main roads B11/B 85, is set in a gently rolling landscape. The closeness of the water and the forest means that holidays here have a wide variety of leisure activities such as white water and kayak tours, fishing and mountain biking along the river Regen. And Regen has other sporting activities to offer its residents and guests: a heated outdoor swimming pool with 85 metre slide, indoor ice rink, mini golf, skittles, horse riding, shooting, squash, indoor and outdoor tennis courts as well as winter sports.
