A particular delight is the House of Bees with a beautifully organised Bee Trail. Autumn in the nature protection area of the Todtnau moor has a particularly mystical atmosphere. An exciting nature trail leads through the meadows here.
Winter Sports and Culture
Sports in winter: right in the village, there are a number of cross country trails. Alpine skiers are well provided for in the local winter sport areas. And there are plenty of alternatives such as skating and snow shoe walks. And the indoor ice rink at Regen is only 10 km away.
The church of St. Gotthard in Kirchberg was built in 1008 as Burg Monte Godehardi. In 1144 Abbott Konrad I changed it to a church with gothic arches. In 1146 King Konrad III made Kirchberg a parish. On 24th December 1744 the whole church burned down except for the tower. It was rebuilt in 1745 and extended to its present size in 1855/56.
