Bavarian Curling in the ARBERLAND

When ist gets cold and the ponds in the villlages start to freeze the people in the Bavarian Forest are "crazy for the sticks" the alpine way of curling, the so called Bavarian curling.

Bavarian curling is one of the most traditional and oldest wintersport types and is a people's sport. Especially amateurs and also beginners like this kind of sport. Let the sticks glide over the ice - who would not like to test it? Bavarian curling for amateurs is particularly a social thing.

The clubs in the ARBERLAND are known for their tactfulness at the sticks and not for nothing at the first places in national and international competitions.
