Travel easily and cheaply with the Bayerwald-Ticket

You can discover ArberLand easily and cheaply with the Bayerwald-Ticket, without having to bother with different ticket prices. This rover ticket is valid on the trains of the Waldbahn and the Oberpfalzbahn as well as the buses – at  €7 per person per day, the ticket covers 1,100 km of routes, through most of the region.

All of the important bus routes to and in the National Park are covered, as well as those around the Arber. On the day of use, any number of changes of route are allowed, with having to buy any additional tickets. Using public transport with the Bayerwald-Ticket is particularly suitable for long distance walks to a particular destination – with the major advantage of not having to return to your starting point.

As well as being one of the loveliest routes in Bavaria, the Waldbahn offers occasional special events (KulTOUR) on the trains, making travel an even more enjoyable experience.

2 children or any number of the ticket holders own children can travel free on each ticket.
