An Exciting Holiday
In winter or in summer, sunshine or rain – you won’t be bored with the wide range of leisure activities in and around Prackenbach:
For winter sports fans there are a floodlit toboggan run, curling on an ice covered pond, cleared winter paths and the nearby Pröller Skidreieck at St. Englmar.
Water fans can fish in the Regen, take a boat out on the Höllensteinsee, swim in the open air pool at the Großer Pfahl or stimulate their circulation with Kneipp therapy.
Fun and action for the whole family are provided by football, ice hockey and inline skating in the FUN-ARENA, ball games in the squash or tennis hall, clay pigeon shooting or summer curling. A visit to the wild animal enclosures or a horse and cart ride are gentler activities.
Younger guests will enjoy the nearby summer toboggan run, the leisure park, the mini golf, the ostrich farm and farms where they can stroke animals.
The Germanic Tribes and Celts
The parish churches at Prackenbach and Moosbach and the Nature Protection Area Moosbacher Pfahl with Kalvarienberg and crucifixion group are particularly worth seeing. Also the natural stone feature the Großer Pfahl, the Höllenstein reservoir and the Celtic Stone, a 2,000 year old ritual site of Germanic tribes and celts.
