Theatre in the Bavarian Forest – a colourful spectacle: In ArberLand there are 23 amateur theatrical groups with more than 550 active performers. Their repertoire includes depictions of agricultural life, Ludwig Thoma plays, classics in Bavarian dialect, light comedies and plays they have written themselves depicting local life. more »
ArberLand is a musical area. There are concerts in the Bavarian Forest right through the year. The region offers a wide ranging, high quality cultural programme. ArberLand has a wide range of artistic and historical treasures: The imposing monastery at Gotteszell, the baroque church at Rinchnach, the rococo church in Frauenau are fine examples of sacred art.
