Hauling yourself up steep rock faces using only your muscles, secured only with a rope and trust in your partner – the thrill of climbing. Whether up rocks or trees, over fixed ropes or in a hall: the types and varieties of climbing are numerous. Especially in the Bavarian Forest Natural Park.
Strength, fitness and concentration are basic requirements which professional or hobby climbers need to bring to this demanding activity. ArberLand provides a suitable environment. As well as the many mountains, there are many other opportunities for viewing this region, from dizzying heights.
Climbing wall at the BLSV Jugenddorf
"BRIDGECLIMB" in Regen. Climbing at the bridge, with either a cable or a belt. Or without either in "Jumping Height" on so-called boulders. The climbing wall is at the BLSV Jugenddorf Regen/Raitmühle, built on the inside of one of the spans of the "Stone Bridge". It is not that easy to climb!
If you want to try your luck, you can make a booking for a climbing course.
