WellVital Seal of Approval: Quality and Hospitality Guaranteed

Hospitality, upmarket accommodation and modern wellness facilities – these are guaranteed by the „WellVital“ seal of approval in ArberLand. At the moment, 9 hotels and Bodenmais, the only complete village approved, meet the WellVital high quality criteria.

The WellVital brand was developed by Bayern Tourismus Marketing GmbH in conjunction with the Bavarian Spa Association and the Bavarian Hotel and Restaurant Association. It makes it easier for guests looking for wellness facilities to find the right hotel. Independent inspectors check regularly to make sure that standards are being maintained.

Hotels with the WellVital seal of approval meet the following standards:
•    Comprehensive website and up to date brochures
•    Comprehensive advice and booking facilities before arrival
•    At least 3 star quality, in a natural environment
•    Guests are greeted personally
•    Non-smoking bedrooms
•    Modern wellness facilities with qualified staff
•    Exercise, relaxation and nutrition courses
•    Regional WellVital cuisine (at least 1 complete dish and 1 vegetarian dish)
•    Use of regional products from certified organic production and appropriate meat production

And finally: the wellness and health facilities of all WellVital hotels have to be available for at least 5 hours every day of the week. Wellness treatments have to be possible on at least 6 days of the week by appointment.
