Cycle easily and quickly to places of interest, enjoying nature and scenery on the way. In ArberLand there are 1,400 kilometres of marked cycle paths for every type of cyclist, from those who prefer gentle ‘leisure’ cycling to super fit sportsmen and women.
From gentle tours of a few kilometres over almost flat ground, to steep climbs by mountain bike to more than 1,200 metres.
Cycle Routes even to Bohemia Numerous cycle routes in every direction, through the forest:
- The international Regental cycle route goes across the border to Bohemia.
- The National Park cycle route is a voyage of discovery through the Bavarian Forest National Park and makes a circuit through the Bohemian Forest (Sumava) back to Bayerisch Eisenstein.
- The Zellertal cycle route from Bodenmais to Bad Kötzting passes interesting wooden sculptures created at an international symposium for wood sculptors.
